Cassandra Caver, WHNP
Cassandra Caver sees her role as a women's health nurse practitioner to be much more than helping patients maintain their health or help them feel better when illness strikes. "I want to educate my patients about their bodies and how to better care for themselves," Cassandra explained. "I want to empower women to make the best decisions for themselves."
Cassandra has been helping to empower women in her more than 30 years in the medical field. "I became a nurse practitioner after serving our country for more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force," she shared. "I enjoy all parts of gynecology and obstetrics, but I especially enjoy caring for the adolescent female and helping all of my patients with contraception."
Outside of work, Cassandra likes to spend time with her husband, who also served in the U.S. Air Force. "We have three sons and one daughter, all of whom are grown," she shared. "We love playing family games, dining together and sharing our lives."
