Annual gynecologic exams should be a regular part of every woman's comprehensive medical care. Checkups include:
- A complete examination of multiple organ systems, including thyroid, breasts, heart, lungs, abdomen and extremities.
- A pelvic exam.
- A Pap test, if one is due.
- Blood and urine testing as needed.
